WHAT DOES THE INNER CITY MINISTRIES DO?

Our local Berea INNER CITY MINISTRIES SCHOLARSHIP FUND provides help with scholarships for worthy, but indigent students.

WHO ARE THE INNER CITY MINISTRIES PROVIDERS?

The Inner City Program receives funds from Adventist Church members, civic leaders, and other humanitarian and religious affiliated agencies, and community residents who contribute to the cause and work toward it's success.

HOW IS INNER CITY MINISTRIES EFFECTIVE?

The Inner City Ministries makes funds available to nurture the hope, self-value and ability to succeed in students.

  Our first fundraising event was a dinner in 2015 to start our program. One worthy student was helped with $300 in 2016 and again in 2017, was given $700.

  In October, 2018, Inner City Ministries hosted a dinner at the St. Augustine Hotel at World Golf Village, to raise money for Inner City Youth Scholarships.

  A benefit concert was held on October 26th, 2019, at Berea Seventh Day Adventist Church, again to benefit deserving youth with scholarships. $1,000 scholarships were given to five deserving youth. The evening was a great success.

  In 2020 and so far in 2021, because of the Corona Virus, we have been limited to sending out donation requests to our faithful donors; and our Director, Yvonne Nicholson, contacted one deserving student to receive a $1.000 scholarship. We hope to have an event to share with you later in 2021, as the situation in Florida allows. We want to express our gratitude to this year's donors for their continued support.
